Shellac™

Award winning Shellac™ nails increasingly popular introducing new colours for 2012.  The beauty world is raving about the Shellac new revolutionary product that is changing the way women are having manicures and pedicures.  Shellac™ nails last up to 14 days without losing shine or shimmer.  They do not scratch or smudge but require professional removal.

So is Shellac™ nail poilish safe ?  The answer is yes and here is why:

* Shellac does not contain formaldehyde, toluene or DBP (Dibutylphthalate)

* To apply and remove Shellac™ nail polish we do no use a file, the nail is never filed down as in acrylics which often causes a weakening of the natural nails.

* CND has designed a special wrap for removing Shellac™ nail polish.  CND wraps are designed to reduce the contact of acetone to the skin around the nails.  Too much acetone will dry out the nails making wraps essential for removing Shellac.

* Please note a UV light is used to cure Shellac™ nail polish some clients can be sensitive to photo-initiators.  Shellac nail polish uses only a low level of UV light.

Shellac™ manicure starts from £20, Pedicure form £25 please email info@katerussellskin.co.uk or telephone 0775 384 6485 for more information or to book an appointment.
